Lelo's Gigi

Lelo's Gigi

Monday’s post about G-Spot stimulation is a really a great primer for those of you who wonder about the magical spot touted by Dr. Grafenberg so many years ago.  While I’m no scientist, I can tell you that I love g-spot stim and most of my favorite toys are designed for it.  While all of my favorites can be found in our new G Spot Sex Toys category, I thought I’d highlight a few today and explain exactly why I love them so much!

First up is Lelo’s Gigi – the ultimate G-spot vibe in my book.  It’s curve fits my body perfectly and is sure to rock my world when inserted, but it’s also great for clitoral stimulation for those of you who prefer external toys.  Like all of my favorite toys, it’s made from a body safe material, in this case silicone, so I don’t have to worry about nasty phthalates.  If you’ve ever run turned on a vibe to find the batteries are running out of juice, you’ll also be happy to hear that the Gigi is rechargeable.  For those of you who are looking for something that doesn’t vibrate or is a little cheaper, Lelo also makes a dildo that with the same shape – The Ella.  It’s equally amazing, especially when paired with a bullet vibe!

Another toy that stimulates the g-spot that I really can’t live without is the We Vibe.  This one isn’t all about g-spot stim though – it’s innovative design manages to stimulate it and the clit during penetration.  It’s absolutely amazing and I really wish that every woman in the world would open their front door to find a package with this vibe in it on their doorsteps.  The world would be a better place.  It’s also made out of silicone and rechargeable.

Lovemoiselle's Aveline

Lovemoiselle's Aveline

Finally, I would be remiss to not talk about the Aveline dildo by Lovemoiselle.  This is the only ceramic toy that I own, but I will definitely look to right that wrong in the future.  The Aveline is a little heavier than a lot of my toys and as smooth as glass.  The extra weight helps to guide the angled head towards your g-spot and ceramaic is truly a divine material for penetration.  If you’re looking for a gorgeous toy that’s definitely unique, this one might be for you.

In the end, your pleasure is what’s important when it comes to picking out sex toys.  While these g-spot toys are some of my favorites, only you know what’s really going to get you off.  And regarding g-spot naysayers, I think our experts hit the nail on the head in this post:

Let’s say for the sake of discussion that someone scientifically proves that the G Spot is a myth.  If you achieve intense orgasms by stimulating the area one to three inches inside on the vagina’s upper wall, does it matter?  Learning what works for you is an art, not a science.

If you’ re interested in exploring g-spot stim, we recommend you start by checking out the cream of the crop when it comes to g-spot toys in our new For Women category.

Toy Review – Liberte

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

liberteNothing beats the UPS dude showing up with a box full of new toys to review and my latest shipment included the Liberte – a g-spot vibrator from Candida Royalle’s Natural Contours line.

This multi-speed vibe is made from phthalates-free plastic that is very smooth.  If you’re new to toy play, this one is great because it offers plenty of options (three speeds, and one escalation pattern) that are all accessible with the use of one simple button.  Push it once and it turns on, push it again to scroll through the higher speeds and to access the orgasm inducing escalation.  There’s nothing worse than trying to figure out how to use some high tech vibe when you’re just looking to get off and get on with your day!

What really sets this vibe apart for me is the smart design.  The contoured shape makes it really easy to hit your g-spot and experience pure ecstacy.  I love that it takes all of the guess work out of g-spot play.  While it’s not the most powerful toy in my collection, the buzz is more than adequate to take you to the moon.

The Liberte is almost 8 inches long and has a circumference of 3.5 inches at it’s widest point.  Because it’s made out of plastic, it’s compatible with both water and silicone-based lubricant.  And this may seem silly, but one of my favorite things about this particular vibe is that it comes with batteries!  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up the tv remote to remember that I’d stolen the batteries for one of my toys.  It’s the little things, people…

Overall, the Liberte is a cheap and reliable toy that’s great for beginners or all of you who can appreciate the simple things in life.

After the Party

Royal Jester

Royal Jester

Some of you, and you know who you are, will be having a little more than usual in the way of beer tonight.  The good news is that the party doesn’t have to end when the beer runs out, if you take home the Royal Jester.  From California Exotic:

“Part of the “Talk Sex with Sue Johanson” collection of toys, the powerful, soft and pliable g-spot vibrator was designed with erotic ripples and a stimulator tip exactly for the girls who know what they want.

This toy requires 2 AAA batteries, not included.”

If you’re going to drink the green beer, you might as well see green straight through a mind numbing orgasm.  And if green isn’t your color, find one that works for you in our complete selection of vibrators.

Ginger Leigh’s Wish List: Iris by Lelo

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

While I could add every product created by Lelo to my Wish List, I will refrain from being greedy.  Since I have to pick one, I am going with the Iris.

Iris

Iris

The Iris can be used for either external or G-spot stimulation.  There are two motors.  One is placed at the tip and the other is halfway down the shaft.  The inventor of this deserves a raise at the very least.

Vibration is a woman’s best friend.  The more erogenous spots that can receive it, well, woohoo!  The vibrations can be continuous at the crown, the base of the stem or throughout the entire toy.  You can also choose from short or extended interval pulsations.  Can you say instant orgasm?

I love that this can be used as a G-spot stimulator, yet is not 3 feet long with a 90 degree angle.  Not everyone needs something the size of a small golf club in order to hit their internal orgasm zone.  Thank you for noticing, Lelo.

While the motors are powerful, they are also quiet.  With some toys you might as well walk out of your front door and yell at the top of your lungs, “hey everyone, I am masturbating”.  The Iris also has a well thought out control system.  It has a quick shut off feature and a locking option.  I won’t have to worry about it accidentally turning on when I am not using it.  I am extra excited about this because I had a related incident with my bullet the other night.  I pulled it out of my drawer only to get one lethargic buzz and then, wait for it, nothing.  It was bummer-ville, USA.  Not with the Iris!

This toy has a simple feminine look to it.  It looks like a flower for my flower.  An LED light is used with the control system.  Ahh, pretty.  Of course this product is phthalates free and hypo-allergenic.

Does the Iris have to go on my Wish List?  I want it right now!
