Kama Sutra Celebrates Forty Years
I’m a fan of Kama Sutra products but had no idea that they’ve been spicing things up in our bedroom’s for four decades. That’s right, way before I existed hippies were picking up a bottle of the Original Oil of Love and living out the free love ideals of the sixties!
“The Vietnam War had been raging, and we wanted to offer a way to heal the divisive wounds our country was going through,” Bolstad told AVN Novelty Business. “To that end, we created a group of romance and intimacy products that we hoped would encourage people to come together in a wholesome, loving and positive way. The Kama Sutra brand of products was launched.”
Forty years late, Kama Sutra is thriving and offers over sixty products. In celebration of their anniversary, the company has repackaged their popular Bedside Box in a limited edition. It contains some of their most popular items including French Vanilla Body Soufflé and Sweet Honeysuckle Honey Dust.
Hopefully, Kama Sutra will stick around another forty years. I don’t want to picture a world without their Sweet Almond Massage Oil.
